The pack fishing event at lake Mission Viejo this
morning was great! We had 14 scouts and their
families attend.

The fishing was so-so for the 2 hours.
But, the time spent was well worth it.
The weather cleared and there was even a need
for sunscreen as it warmed up nicely.
Rick provided a first time fishing lesson for the
scouts that included how to bait a hook, set the
line, and what to do if a hook gets in your
finger...ouch!
4 boys caught 1 trout each ranging from 13
to 16 inches long. Later reports confirm
that they were good eats.
All boys who attended
earned their fishing
beltloops.
